The Miami County Recycling Center is a free recycling drop-off for Miami County residents. It is located in front of the scales at the Miami County Transfer Station.Residents may bring clean, pre-sorted recyclable materials during the Transfer Station's operating hours.
Materials accepted for recycling at the Miami County Recycling Center:
- Plastic bottles, jugs, tubs, and cups only; (food-grade materials only)
- Aluminum cans
- Steel cans and lids
- Plastic and Metal Cups
- Cardboard (no Styrofoam)
- Glass bottles and jars
- Newspapers
- Office paper and magazines
- Telephone books and catalogs
- Household batteries - please tape terminals of batteries with a voltage of 1.5 or higher
*Cup recycling includes plastic cups with lids, paper cups without lids, and aluminum cups. No straws or coloful party cups.
