The Miami County Sheriff's Office will take place in the Drug Enforcement Agency's national Drug Take-Back Day again this year, in an effort to divert unused medication from potential misuse.
Deputies from the Sheriff's Office will be on duty at the Miami County Sanitary Engineering Building, 2200 N. County Road 25A in Troy, from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, April 28, to collect unwanted prescription medication. Residents are encouraged to bring in prescription pills (no liquids, please), for no-questions-asked destruction.
Residents may also drop off unneeded medication at any time at the lobby of the Miami County Sheriff’s Department, 201 W. Main Street in Troy, or the Miami County Incarceration Facility, 2042 N. County Road 25A in Troy. For more information, visit our medication disposal page here, or the MCSO website.
